Yoga videos I like:
White Lotus Foundation Total Yoga.
There are 4 DVDs.   You can buy them separately or as a package.
Earth - Level 1 Flow Series
Water- Level 2 Flow Series
Fire    - Level 3 Flow Series
Original (does a lot of rock 'n roll and abdominal work)
They are a flow and progress from a gentle flow  (Level 1) to Fire, which may be quite challenging.  I found them to be fairly comprehensive in the poses they demonstrate and easy to follow along.  I would probably hold some of the standing poses a little longer.

Meditation for Beginners by Maritsa.  This is a very nice DVD.  Martisa does some gentle yoga to prepare for meditation.  There is a savasana segment in which she guides you into yoga nidra through body awareness and a wonderful seated meditation practice that I found very effective.

Yoga For Every Body (With Over 35 Routines) J.J. Gormley.  From a menu, you can pick a beginner, intermediate, or advanced routine, as well as the amount of time you have for your yoga session.  What I REALLY like about this is she ends with savasana in a guided meditation.  It's beautiful.

Books:

There are so many good books on yoga.  I really love Erich Schiffman's YOGA The Spirit and Practice of Moving into Stillness.  If you ever have a chance to take a class from him, don't hesitate.  He is one of the most soothing, uplifting, inspiring yoga teachers I have ever had the priviledge of taking a class from.  Makes me want to move to Southern California.

the 8 Human Talents by Gurmukh.  Gurmukh is the queen of Kundalini yoga, a very different type of yoga.  The late Yogi Bhajan came to the US from India in the 60's and developed quite a following, did a lot of good for people who were searching.  But be prepared if you do find a Kundalini class or rent a DVD.  It is VERY different.  But this book really resonated with me.

Structural yoga Therapy:  Adapting to the Individual by Mukunda Stiles.  Although more a manual for teachers, he goes into how to correctly do the poses and what poses are good for which parts of the body need work and why.

I also found BKS Iyengar's YOGA, the Path to Holistic Health a great reference book for teachers with lots of pictures of how to use props and Many seqences that address many ailments from insomnia to high blood pressure to impotence.

Other:
The 5-Tibetans is an ancient rite practiced in Tibet which is supposed to be 'youthenizing'.  It consists of 5 basic 'exercises' that are to be done 21 times a day (you work up to them) and it's supposed to turn back the clock.  Careful with the spinning.  In addition to making you dizzy, I fear if you spin the wrong way, you may get the opposite effect!  Here in the Northern Hemisphere, you are supposed to spin clockwise or to the right.  You can find books that explain the theory and how to do the exercise too.  Here is a sample I found on You-Tube:
